My Whole30 Experience - Day Three

DAY THREE - MONDAY, OCTOBER 3RD, 2016

Two days down, not a single cheat, and getting used to plain tea (still waking up with "HA's").

9:00am

  • banana
  • 12oz tea

Need to do yard work today and it is beautiful outside! Sunny, blue skies, and just cool enough to be comfortable to work hard in.

11:30am

  • 3 eggs
  • veggies
  • sweet potatoes
  • 1 tbsp of coconut oil
  • 1 cup of tea
  • 1 can V8 juice
  • 2oz chicken tender (baked)
  • salad, romaine lettuce
  • 4oz steak

I spoke to my sister tonight and she is doing very well. She said she lost 25 pounds! I told her that I had started the Whole30 with some of my coworkers. Today was the hardest so far. I am not sure what it is really. I think bad habits are hard to break from.

I have been moderately physical the last two days but today I did very little. I felt a little dizzy and short of breath. I am gonna mow the rest of the lawn tonight. Which is excellent exercise. I have had 60 ounces of water. Winter is coming.

According to the Whole30 Program's website, the Whole30 was "established by Dallas Hartwig and Melissa Hartwig (of Whole9) in April 2009. The Whole30 is their original nutritional program designed to change your life in 30 days. Think of it as a short-term nutritional reset, designed to help you put and end to unhealthy cravings and habits, restore a healthy metabolism, heal your digestive tract, and balance you immune system."
