My Whole30 Experience - Day Six

Well last might I made paleo fajitas (excellent!!!). This morning I woke up early to make Whole30 approved porridge and it was also fantastic. Every day I feel like it is getting easier. I am embracing cooking (which I love to do) but just got moved away from it and started reaching for those quick grab snacks and meals. I have so much energy, it is amazing!

I have never really felt the benefit of clean eating. I have eaten healthy most my life mind you but it was always to make weight or look good in a pair of jeans. I never listened  to my body and saw how great I feel!

This could truly become a lifestyle. What is it about this attempt that has made it so easy! It is purely habit and not craving that makes me think about stopping for my morning latte!

Tough is not enough! Be smart, aware, determined, and self-forgiving.

According to the Whole30 Program's website, the Whole30 was "established by Dallas Hartwig and Melissa Hartwig (of Whole9) in April 2009. The Whole30 is their original nutritional program designed to change your life in 30 days. Think of it as a short-term nutritional reset, designed to help you put and end to unhealthy cravings and habits, restore a healthy metabolism, heal your digestive tract, and balance you immune system."
