What do you like to treat and why?
I specialize in deep tissue, neuromuscular, myofascial release, acupressure, sports massage, chair massage, and prenatal. Using these methods, I love to treat issues such as: low back pain, neck pain, pain/numbness through extremities, stress/tension, headaches/migranes, and also working with injuries to prevent surgical procedures.
How long have you been in Alaska or why did you move here?
Adventure and travel brought me to Alaska in June 2012. The locals and the vast, untouched, wilderness stole my heart.
Where have you lived before Alaska?
I was born and raised in Northwestern Pennsylvania within a very small town south of Lake Erie. After spending 3 months traveling the states, I made my way to Alaska where I have spent the majority of my time in Denali and Fairbanks.
Luckily, I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2011!
Hobbies and other interests?
- Anything outdoors and hangin’ with my husky, Akiko.
Similar to the Brady Bunch, my family is out of the norm. All residing in my home town, my parents have blessed me with four older sisters and one (not so little) brother, whom I could not be more thankful to have in my life!
