Brandee Beers attended Tri-State Business Institute in Erie, Pennsylvania, where she earned her Associates Degree in Therapeutic Massage. Since third grade, Brandee had dreamed of travelling the world, and more importantly, seeing Alaska. Arriving here in 2012, she has found many enjoyments through nature as well as running and skijoring with her husky. As a massage therapist, Brandee focuses on deep tissue, myofascial release, and trigger point techniques to help relieve pain and muscle restriction.

What do you like to treat and why?

I specialize in deep tissue, neuromuscular, myofascial release, acupressure, sports massage, chair massage, and prenatal. Using these methods, I love to treat issues such as: low back pain, neck pain, pain/numbness through extremities, stress/tension, headaches/migranes, and also working with injuries to prevent surgical procedures.

How long have you been in Alaska or why did you move here?

Adventure and travel brought me to Alaska in June 2012. The locals and the vast, untouched, wilderness stole my heart.

Where have you lived before Alaska?

I was born and raised in Northwestern Pennsylvania within a very small town south of Lake Erie. After spending 3 months traveling the states, I made my way to Alaska where I have spent the majority of my time in Denali and Fairbanks.

Previous careers?

Luckily, I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2011!
