BRUCE HILL, PhD, LMFT, CEAP
Bruce Hill, PhD, LMFT, CEAP, has spent the past 25 years in the mental health field as a counseling clinician. He is currently contracted with Alaska Center for Natural Medicine to provide individual, and family therapy to individuals with a variety of presenting problems. Academically, he has completed his BA at Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa. His upper degree work of MS and PhD were completed at a Theological Seminary majoring in Clinical Pastoral Counseling. Dr. Hill is licensed as an Independent Baptist Minister. He is also professionally licensed with the State Boards of Alaska and Tennessee as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
Dr. Hill has devoted his life to coaching individuals and families who are hurting and struggling with the distressing and unrelenting difficulties of living life. His effectiveness in coaching individuals and families in a direction of diminishing and eliminating emotional pain suffered is rooted in his father's role model as an athletic coach who heavily influenced and guided his advocate path. Dr. Hill has lived his life professing stormy days and sunny days are an inevitable part of living life. When it storms, find shelter, wait, and be thankful! What do you like to treat and why?
My father was an athletic coach. His role model impacted me in wanting to coach people out of losing and surviving to winning and thriving in life.
How long have you been in Alaska and why did you move here?
Move to Fairbanks to be close to my family and grandchildren.
Hobbies and other interests?
Ballroom dancing, 4 wheeling, and snow machining.
