Basic: Licensed practitioner has learned to evaluate, locate, and eliminate food and environmental allergies - 11/2010
"Acupuncture helped me to eliminate my migraines. After one treatment I was amazed at the results and I decided I wanted to be an acupuncturist. I already wanted to help people (my undergraduate degree was in psychology) and this was the perfect outlet for helping others."
Specialties: My specialties include physical pain, emotional issues, allergies, and headaches. I like to treat any kind of pain because I enjoy alleviating suffering. I also enjoy treating allergies. I had severe allergies, by getting help with them, I'm motivated to help others with the same issues.
Why did you move to Fairbanks? I moved here to work as an acupuncturist as well as a new start for my wife and me.
Previous locations: I lived in Tennessee for 24 years, 6 years in Seattle/Everett, and now Alaska!
Previous careers: I have been a server, bartender, and a restaurant manager before becoming an acupuncturist.
Hobbies: I enjoy reading, hiking, movies, walking, and being active in my church.
Family: I have a wonderful wife, Kim who is here with me. My parents Mike and Darlene live in Johnson City, Tennessee, along with my stepmother Joyce.
